Mission Statement

The Altar Guild administers the needs of the pulpit of the church and the Pastor’s study.  The members are responsible for the care of the flowers, decorations, and furnishings for the pulpit.  They prepare the folded palm crosses for the lapels which are given to each person on Palm Sunday.  Flower arrangements of red and white carnations are provided on Mother’s Day for the pulpit.  The Altar Guild is very careful to ensure that everything is in order in the pulpit each Sunday and during funerals, weddings, and other services at the church
